Professional 3-axis stabilisation

The Ronin S provides smooth and progressive stabilisation on 3 axes: pan, tilt, and roll. The stabilisation is done by strong motors and electronic speed controllers that actively compensates for any high frequency movement, giving you smooth and professional looking video.

Obstruction free design

The DJI Ronin-S's innovative design lifts the camera above the Roll Axis, making the camera's rear built-in display obstruction free and always in your line of sight. This ergonomic design also frees the Ronin S from unwanted shake as you shift from underslung to an upright position in one smooth take.

Versatile mounting

The Ronin-S can be easily mount to an RC buggy for low angle shots or even act as a stabilized remote head when mounted to a jib. Users can also attach the DJI Ronin S gimbal to a dual-handle bar without compromising control of the gimbal, focus or the camera shutter.

Focus Command Unit

The dedicated Focus wheel can be mounted to the accessory dock, enabling creators to pull focus when operating with the standard handle.

SmoothTrack Control

The SmoothTrack system translates your movements into smooth camera angle changes. Smoothtrack works automatically and does not need input from another user. Smoothtrack intuitively faces the camera in the direction you want, all while completely stabilized. Settings from speed to deadband to acceleration are fully customizable.

Hot-swappable battery

Users can enjoy uninterruptible use with the Ronin-S. This is thanks to DJI’s intelligent battery technology that allows batteries to be hot-swapped during operation for extended shoots.

Stay Focused

Focus better on your subject with the easy-to-control Focus Wheel. When a compatible camera system connects to the Ronin-S, you can pull focus via the included cable. An optional external motor can also be added, bringing broader compatibility to all lens types while enhancing precision control.
